What we collect

• Order details: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number (optional), items bought, order history.
• Payment: handled by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see or store your full card number.
• Marketing sign-ups: email and/or mobile number, birthday (optional) and how you signed up.
• Messages you send us by email, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp or iMessage.
• Device and browsing data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and cookies (see Cookies below).

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To take, deliver and support your order, handle returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
• To keep tax and accounting records and prevent fraud (legal obligation; legitimate interests).
• To send marketing emails and texts, including early access and sale codes, only where you have opted in (consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link and you can reply STOP to texts.
• To improve the website and measure adverts (consent for non-essential cookies; legitimate interests for essential analytics).

Who we share it with Only what each needs: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment providers, delivery carriers (Royal Mail, DPD, Evri and others), our fulfilment partners (most orders are packed and dispatched by a UK supplier on our behalf, who receives your name, delivery address and the items ordered), our email/SMS tool (Shopify Messaging), and advertising partners such as Meta and TikTok where you have accepted marketing cookies. We never sell your data.

International transfers Some providers, including Shopify, process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

How long we keep it Order and accounting records: 6 years from the end of the financial year, as UK tax law requires. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, then kept only on a suppression list so we don't contact you again. Customer service messages: up to 2 years.

Cookies We use essential cookies to run the shop and basket, and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies (including the Meta pixel) to measure visits and adverts. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@saucedbyhs.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

Age Our shop is for customers aged 18 and over.
